The Clarendon Hotel - Dundee

The affable and helpful staff all round.

Peaceful and excellent position, we liked staying here.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family members, had an excellent stay. Location: the hotel was just off good independent restaurants, Dundee or St Andrews There, and shop. It also was in a vibrant neighbourhood.

It was just a balanced option for a holiday in Dundee with real value for money. The virtual check-in worked really well, a nice touch. Try to embrace the tech for a smoother arrival.

Good small and grand old hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The location was fantastic, in the artwork on the walls.

Fine sea view, but remote-controlled curtains were a bit confusing.

The rooms were airy and huge with beautiful views, all good quality, for example, just what was needed. The location was particularly good and incredible for me.

Great accessibility to parks and cultural landmarks

I loved how effortlessly I could stroll to the fine Magdalen Green just over 800 meters away, and I was genuinely impressed by the V&A Dundee, only a short 20-minute walk from the hotel was great. As a single traveler, I really appreciated the desk in my executive single room with a perfect spot to catch up on work without feeling cramped or uncomfortable.

Consider asking for local restaurant recommendations from the host. they provided unique treats that enhanced my experience.

Amazing view and super clean room. Free parking was a bonus, but slow Wi-Fi.

Couple's Smart Sanctuary

We had a super comfy bed and an iPad with Alexa that we used to control the lights and curtains it was like having a personal assistant I tell you and the view over the River Tay was just fine

The decor at Clarendon is a good blend of modern style and charming art. The accessibility features were fantastic for someone like me.

More assistance with technology would be helpful.

spacious room but could improve on amenities

The spaciousness of the room offered a comfortable atmosphere, great for relaxation after long days. The kitchen facilities were a great addition.

While the room was quite lovely, the lack of certain amenities felt a bit disappointing.

I stayed for 1 night in the Junior Suite. The room was spacious with a big comfy bed. Communication was great and check-in was easy. Alexa helped with room features. I enjoyed local treats provided by the host 😊

Had a great time! The voice-activated features made everything feel like magic, and the tasty Dundee cake was such a delightful touch. Plus, that shower was heavenly!
